Please HELP !!!! 55 GAL 6 new cichlids. One red has tail rot, hiding but still eating. I put in Melafix to help. Later in the day noticed others starting ICK. Now what??? Do the melafix for 6 more days or quit and put in Ick meds??????

First we need to know what are your water parameters and what kind of cichlids. Second to treat ich turn the heat up slowly to 87 F and add a bubbler or lower the water a little.
Good water conditions will heal the fin rot providing it is not a fungus or bacterial infection.
