silver sided catfish???????

theres a catfish that i was recommended for my oscars at my lfs i am lookin for info on it but cant find anything for silver sided catfish, or silver catfish, what could this be, it is obviously catfish looking, but it is extrememly silvery

well there are two catfish that come to mind. the silver tipped catfish(or shark) is a common fish sold in lfs, the also a Synodontis catfish would make a great addition to the tank.

Possibly an iridescent shark or pictus catfish?

i agree with toirtis ... if it is really shiney with a few spots on its body then a pivtus catfish for sure

ID Shark (Columbian shark, SilverTipped Catfish) was the fist thing that came to mind, they seem rather common in pet stores..

thanks it is the columbian shark. nice looking fish, the people at the store said it should get pretty big
