Hello first post here...
I've had my dwarf puffer for almost a year and I'm starting to notice in the past 2-3 months he has been slowly losing mass. I moved him from my 55g to his own personal 5g so he could have easier access to his food 2 months ago. I feed him bloodworms about 2x a day and have tossed dozens of nerite snails and baby snails in the tank. He eats most of them but still doesn't fatten up. Any ideas? This little guy is my lab's mascot and he's looking pretty sorry...
5g tank partially planted for 2 months, ammonia/nitrites/nitrates were all close to 0 at last testing (2 weeks ago) with an Aqueon quietflow filter. no heater...temp is constant at 75degreesF (thx AZ) pH is 7.6, 20% WC every 1-2weeks.
