I turned my lights on yesterday and down in the lefthand side on my tank, under a powerhead. I saw 6 or so very small white things cralling on the side on my glass. They were about 1-2mm in size. And as fast as I turned the light on the headed for the crush coral. They do not come back out after the light has come on.
I have not added anything new in 6 months or so. I do have a pair of peppermint shrimp. Could they be babies? They are so quick to hide I can't get a good look at them.
Any Ideas??
Thanks

They could be copepods, amphipods or maybe even mysid shrimp. It's hard to say for sure but I doubt they are anything at all to worry about.
