Snail issue

If my snail's body is turning white, does that mean I need to add algae wafers more often, or is that something entirely unrelated to algae amount? I have one gold inca snail, one tiger nerite, and one olive nerite. The olive is turning colors on me. The inca is fine and the tiger is very new,

I bought them FW. One store only sells FW and the other is FW and SW. The nerite was in FW.
