I have a 55 Gal planted tank. I bought some plants and thought that I cleaned them hoping to keep the ram snails away. I have a sand substrate and I have tons of MTS. I want to keep the MTS and kill off the ram snails. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You'll need to remove them by hand, using a trap or other form of baiting to catch the ramshorn. When I bait for pond and ramshorn snails only a few (if any) MTS join them for the meal. Cut back on the amount of food you're feeding the fish if the number of ramshorn is increasing.

Place some lettuce in the tank, let it sit for a few hours. The rams should flock to it, then just pick them out. You might have to do this a few times to get them all, though.
