Snail?

A small snail appeared in my tank. Im guessing it hitched a ride with the plants. Its the only one i can see. Can anyone identify it?

In my opinion, you should take it out. Those things multiply like crazy!!!! If one got in on a plant, chances are there are some babies on the plants too.

I rinsed them before placing them into the tank. I guess that didn't much for getting this little guy out.

You can train fish to eat them.
Squish all the snails you see and feed them to the fish. After a while, they will go hunting for them and eat them out of their shells. The only bad thing with that is that you get lots of snail shells all over the tank. Oh well.
