I've got a Gourami breeding tank set up and he's made his bubble nest (or is in the process) but there are snails on it above the water (that I can see). Should I really use a snailaway treatment to get rid of them? I've seen him picking them off if they get too near in the water which is good. I imagine snails would eat eggs and wrigglers...

EDIT: Also - my Gourami's bubble nests never have many actual bubbles in them, just plant debris/material. Is this a problem?

I wouldn't use any chemicals to treat for the snail, if you don't mind then just leave them in the tank. Adding debris to the bubble nest is normal as well

If you want to get rid of the snails, add a piece of lettuce in over night and take it out in the morning.
