what type of snails clean off the algae from the gravel good but dont eat my plants as well

are cherry shrimp any good?

Nerite snails are good and don't eat plants. RCS clean everything in my community tank, but for serious cleaning AES (amano) are my favorite shrimp.

okay thanks, i doubt petsmart will have any shrimp but i'll check. i need something good that can clean the gravel cause i have like fuzzy algae on it

Petco has ghost shrimp (mine does anyway).

that's really helpful thanks! last question, my Java moss turned light brown, does that mean I should dispose of it?

Does it look like die off or algae? My BW tank has Java moss that's getting some BA on it and the AES & ghosties are all over it .

Trimming it isn't an issue IMO.

I have all my tanks on timers and never worry about when they're turning on/off. Here's the best one I've found for the money and it's easy to setup .

whoa not bad! I'm kinda suffering from an algae bloom so that would help whenever I'm not home my swords have been suffering:/
