Well....the store just keeps getting them in....and I just keep buying them.
I picked up pairs of three Pelvicachromis species today.....and none of them are the 'kribensis' (Pelvicachromis pulcher). Not that there is anything wrong with 'kribs', mind you....they're gorgeous....but my taste tends to run to the more unusual.
I managed to pick up Pelvicachromis rubrolabiatus, Pelvicachromis subocellatus, and Pelvicachromis taeniatus. They've just been introduced to their new quarters so I don't have much in the way of pictures yet.
Here's one of the male Pelvicachromis taeniatus. This was taken a few minutes after he was released into his aquarium so he is nowhere near in full color. He promises to be a very pretty one!
