Some Very Depressing News

My favorite freshwater creature faces EXTINCTION! No wonder I can't find these things in the pet shops anymore....
I want a pair soooooo bad! Now they're so expensive.

Axolotl are awesome animals and it sad to read this. I would like to offer though that if you have a local reptile show, you may have more luck finding them there and for better prices than a lfs.

Sorry. If you want something that looks simullar look up "waterdog" there like newts but live under water all there life like fish. look into them.

They sell them in my lfs.. and lots of them too.. lol i would buy them at Big Al's if your looking for some.
