Staghorn in the Tank?

Hello All

My tank has staghorn in it and I have read that this can be caused from low Co2 levels Which could be the case because I haven't been adding Co2 lately. Anyone previously dealt with this and know any good ways of getting rid of it?

I bought some Algaefix because I have algae in my tank as well and have read good reviews about it so I'm also thinking that maybe the Algaefix may help get rid of it?

What are your parameters? Staghorn is caused by ammonia and low co2, like you said. People have had luck by spot treating it with Excel. Here are a couple links to some people who have gotten rid of it.
