I would do a heavily planted tank with about 15 Red Cherry Shrimp and 7 Endler's Livebearers. They are very colorful!

Quite a few Corydoras Pygmaeus or Hastatus, planted, with some Red Cherry Shrimp.

Guppies would work well, I'd go with them over the platy. You could handle more in their bioload wise.

Yeah, I would go with the guppies. They are less waste-heavy than the platys. You could probably do 4-6 in a 10 gallon.

Ok. Just wondering this off topic question but how do you put that tanks list underneath your messages.

In the top right corner of this page, it says welcome, (username). Click on your username. Then, there will be a box that states your last activity and current activity. If you look on the far right of the box there is a link that says, "Customize Profile." Click on that. There will then be a big list on the left hand side of your screen. Under the heading, "Settings and Options" One choice will be "Edit Signature." Click on that. Then you can make your signature, which will appear beneath all of your posts.
