Have a 26 gallon bowfront with a 75 gallon canister filter. My current stock is
1 dwarf gourami
4 cardinal tetras
1 male swordtail
3 otto cats

I had 8 tetras total but they were the last ones in stock at the fish store - must have been a bad batch since 4 died. I do plan on getting more cardinals so I have a school of 10 but what other suggestions do you guys have? I feel like my tank is empty.
Btw, this is an established tank - been running over a year.
0 ammonia
0 N01
20 N02
Temp - 80

There are lots of options. You could add another school of a different tetra species, or more livebearers. Could also take a look at a bristlenose pleco, or a pair of bolivian rams.

I've decided to not get more livebearers. I had a pair of female swordtails and I was quickly overrun with fry - it seemed due to the amount of hiding spaces, the survival rate was quite high.

You could add some Pygmy or panda Cories for the bottom then add some german blue rams.
