Hey everyone, just got done setting up my new aquarium yesterday and sat down with my 7 year old son to decide what fish to get. I think we've settled on this list after my fishless cycle is complete:

4 Albino Cory
2 Sunset Platy
1 Dwarf Gourami
2 Boesemans Rainbowfish
2 Ghost Shrimp
10 Neon Tetra
5 Harlequin Rasbora
5 Cherry Barb

The feedback I'm looking for deals specifically with stocking order. My thought is to put the Gourami in last and all by himself once all others are in there. Is this the right thing to do? I'm also looking for feedback on any other special considerations I should have for the remaining fish. My plan is to put them all in the aquarium in 3 separate groups.

If you see any potential problems with our selection, I would appreciate any feedback you could offer.

Thanks!

It all looks good to me!!! I'd add a few more ghost shrimp tho.

I think I would skip on the boesemani rainbows. They get quite large and are active swimmers. A longer tank would be better in my eyes.
But the good news is there is plenty of smaller rainbows like pacfic blue eyes and neon rainbows
