So I have heard some people day that their plants are "pearling" what is that and is it good? I'm trying to get all the info I can before I plunge even further into this hobby and get plants :)

Pearling is when there are oxygen bubbles being produced by plants as a result of photosynthesis. It is a sign of a healthy plant and a good thing! It usually occurs with higher levels of CO2.

+1 Plants strip the carbon out of CO2 and expel the waste O2. When it happens at a high rate, the O2 forms shiny bubbles or pearls on the plants.
