Sumps are my favorite parts of reef DIY. Not trying to be cocky but I'm very good at it.
I need to know where I should put my protein Skimmer. Overflow will go into a multi layer canister design of filtration, but "right" from that, should I have the water go into a skimmer and heater chamber, and then thebl refugium and then return?? Second, between what sections should I put the bubble traps??
My final concern is I'm doing a second "seperate" 20 gal refugium with a built in PVC overflow. I was thinking of having that drain right into the sumps return chamber, and have my return pump push water back into the display tank "and" that refugium. Should I do it a different way??
Please help me out guys. I want this system to be my masterpiece; my swan song of sump/refugiums!!!
