Sword tail tank

Hey, this is my first post, and i was wondering, can i put a male sword tail in one of those betta tanks, or not? It would not have the devidor in and he'd be by him self. If not, whats the minimum for just a boy sword tail?

I wouldn't keep a sword tail in anything less than 20G. They get quite a bit larger than the size they're usually sold at.
