T5 and t8s

What is the highest power t5 fluorescents and t8 fluorescents you can get?

I don't think that's what he's asking. I go through many 54 watt HO T5's (4'). Not sure what 4' T8 HO's are but the T5's will be MUCH brighter.

That's kind of what I'm not getting? I thought as length increased then do did wattage. Following

It does, but as diameter shrinks, the energy in the mercury is more concentrated, so it needs less wattage per foot of bulb to be even brighter.
