most likely thats probably bad.... i dont think a tank should be leaning. thats a lot of weight.

either your floor isnt strong enough to hold the full tank, or your base is waterlogged and slouching.

When you say leaning... what do you mean? Is it leaning a lot, or do you just notice that the water line is lower on the back side of the tank? If so, how much lower? If we're talking 1/4" or less, it's not a big deal. If it's more than that, then there would be a problem.

1.) are your floors built to wooden framework and joices or on concrete?
2.) is tank leaning towards center of room?
3.) have you tried using a level to check if its the floor or the stand?
4.) do you have carpet under the stand, any other things?

in some parts of the country they lay the slab with a slight angle to run water that may come into the residence towards the sump pump.

additionally you COULD have concrete issues, where something has dug below your foundation or washed away the gravel underneath the foundation, leaving it sinking, or the slab has cracked and is moving to re-settle.

my 220 in my basement had to have a sand box built under the tank itself (on top of the stand), to level the tank.

I thought you meant the tank was "Bowing" which would definitely be a problem.

Go to your local hardware store and get plastic shims. They use them for doors and shouldn't be hard to find or expensive. They are wedge shaped and can be driven under your stand with a hammer.just keep driving them until the tank is level, then pry up on the thick end and they will break off flush. Install one shim under each vertical support between the base or the stand and your floor.

I use plastic instead of wood shims because wood shims can swell with humidity or contact with water.
