How to lower ammonia?
4 week old tank, all live plants, use flourish plant food

Do a water change. That is the best way to lower ammonia. I change as much of the water as possible.
What kind of fish do you have? It seems that your tank is not yet cycled, so you will need to be careful about doing water changes to make sure the fish stay healthy.

I have an elephant nose, pictus cat, albino Cory, 1 angel, upside down cat.
- I use bio-spira
- prime for dechlorinate
I have found out that the tank is not cycled so I'm unfortunately doing it with fish. Which is hard on fish :(
I don't want to lose anyone.....
Did 10 gallon water change (40) gal tank
Nothing changed

My suggestion is to make two 50% PWC back to back, maybe with two hours in between..
