Tankmates for clown and damsel?

Hi everyone, I purchased an ocellaris clown and a yellow tail damsel for my long 20G tank about 6 months ago. Currently the tank has those two fish as well as 15~ hermits and two peppermint shrimp.

The clown and damsel get along fine but I rarely see them swimming around and would like to add some other fish to the tank.

Any suggestions on tank mates? I would be open to removing the damsel if it would mean add some more interesting fish. (my damsel spends 95% of his time hidden in his favorite rock)

With the damsel, even though it might not seem like a bully to the clownfish, it most likely would pick on a new fish. I would take it out if it were me. A purple firefish would be awesome, but not with the damsel since they are very docile fish. You could add a goby w/ the damsel. Think that would be okay...

Do you think a clown, firefish, and goby would be okay?

Or what about a couple firefish with the clown?
