I am currently cycling my 10 gallon aquarium and I was wondering if my ideal fish would work in my aquarium.
3 dwarf Cory catfish
5 glofish
3 mollies/platys

I was wondering which fish would be better: Molly or platy? I love the variety of Mollies there are, but I read they might need brackish water? And they are too big? Not sure but this forum always straightens things out for me!

I personally wouldnt put mollies in a ten gallon. Mollies have adapted to freshwater so brackish isnt necessary. But the odd one can be a bit territorial and torture your other mollies/fish so more space would be needed for them. A couple dwarf gourami's might be nice.

How many could I have? And could I also have platys? Or would that be too much?

I used to have a aqueon quiet flow 10 which came with a packaged deal for a 14 gallon tank for $50 so I though it was a good deal until I found out the filter was terrible and that I needed a Hagen aquaclear 30 for $36 or I couldn't have my 10 fish.
