tetra 6 in 1 test strips

i do the tetra 6 in one test strips for my fish tank freshwater, the nitrate box comes out a sort of dark brownie pinkie colour which isnt even one of the choices of colours on the strip which go from light pink to dark pink , can anyone tell me what this means

Your still in the clear (good) levels. I get that color too. As long as its not a real noticeable brighter pink.

If it's like the test in the pic, I'd guess that you might be at 5 PPM, midway between 0 (brown) and 10 (pink).
