Been doing a ton of reading. I want to end up w/a 75g reef tank but am going to start out w/FOWLR 'cause I dont know squat yet. Is this correct? The water drains to the sump, past skimmer,throught baffles, then gets returned to display?

Either way, only difference is price with externals running slightly higher IME. I use a Mag 9.5 pump (internal) which gives about 800 gph with a 4 foot head. If you use rubber stoppers on the bottom and plumb it well it's very quite.
