Think my ammonia test is bad

I just tested and my ammonia looks like this?? See the bottom of the tube. The bottle is getting close to being empty and I do shake all my test bottles before use. Thoughts??

Supposed to be yellow when it comes out of bottle to start.
I would think something is wrong?
If almost empty just remember to get new one next time at LFS...

It kind of looks like a precipitate to me, which (if I recall correctly from some super basic chemistry courses) would essentially just be useless insoluble stuff at the bottom of the bottle in this case.

Mine is white normal yellow bad. My card is white to severe yellow

I just picked up a new bottle and boy mine must really be out dated. The colors are new yellow to green and you have to use 2 bottles now instead of one.

Now you can share the confusion most have have over what shade?
At least we are all talking about same test now...
Sooo , why are you testing for ammonia? Is your tank new or are you having issues?

Neither. I just test every so often. To make sure everything is going well.

And with this new test it does show a slight amount and my old one did not. So now I can take care of it.
