Thoughts on using Flourish and Flourish Excel during fishless cycle?

Hi,

I'm in the middle of a fishless cycle and have my tank planted. It seems most don't plant a tank until the cycle is done. Since I have plants in and am keeping the lights to a minimum to avoid an algae outbreak, I wanted to see if there were any pro's or con's to using Flourish during the cycle.

I was hoping it might help the plants during the cycle since there is low light, but don't want to affect the cycle at all.

I guess the only thing I could think of would be the extra phosphates might help speed up your cycle. Other than that I don't think you would have any problems. If you plant it heavy you could probably get away with leaving your lights on all the time.
