Im looking for recommendations on which fishes go to which size tank.

History...I started my hobby with a 40g and the following characters:
1 Red Shoulder Peacock
1 Red Empress
1 Electric Yellow Lab (male)
1 Feather Fin Squeaker

I loved my yellow lab so much that i wanted a second...big boo-boo. I was told it was a male. Long story short they were VERY proficient procreators. After dozens of store trades i ended up keeping some that had great attachment due to their personalities. So now i have:

1 Red Shoulder Peacock
1 Red Empress
1 Feather Fin Squeaker
4 Electric Yellow Labs (male) & 1 female*

* i thought it was a male until they did it to me again and i finally separated the hussy out.

Recently they started to gang up on my Empress and now he's in a hospital tank.
The Peacock is the largest at 5" to the others 4" and rules the roost often behaves like a bully.
The squeaker is 6 inches and holds his own but gets into fights with one of the larger labs...they flat out hate eavh others guts! Clearly my 40 is extremely small! I'm getting an additional 60g soon.

Any recommendations on which should go where? Im thinking of the following:
40g - the female lab, squeaker and empress
60g - 4 male labs and peacock

Suggestions?
