I ordered about 40 dwarf ceriths off reef cleaners but seem to have around 100 or more and I think they are multiplying. I don't think they are highly attractive, how many of these are enough?

Ps. I have a 55 gal tank. I also have some nerites and nassarius.

I also ordered their cleaner pack and yeah, I have ALOT of those black snails. the nerites all just gather at my waters edge so they don't do much that I've seen.

No matter what I do and how many snails I take out there always seems to be more.

Well if you have more than you want toss some out or give them to a friend better yet. There is no exact formula for numbers, every tank is different. Some people keep the water ultra clean so a lot of snail are necessary, in fact to many and they'll die off. Some tanks need more because of messy eaters or overfeeding. Some have a very diverse CC. I have a little of every thing! And a lot of some.
