Trace elements

I heard that Kent Tech trace elements such as Tech CB, Tech M, and Tech I wont release in the water until it needs it so you cant overdose. In other words, if u put in the chemical it wont release in the water until the water needs tat element. Has anyone heard about anything like this?

A good salt mix has all the trace elements you need. You shouldn't have to add. Therefore if you had a system in place to replenish only when needed then it would probably never be used. Unless of course you don't do regular water changes.
