I was browsing through google and found this story. It's on another forum and thought you'd all be interested. It deals with a pleco, java ferns, and loud noises of hammers during some construction work. So, if you have to do any hammering, might want to consider your fish before starting.

Out of curiosity, what were you searching for that combined hammers, fish, and strangling plants? Looking for ways to get even with the eels are we?

Oh no! It's hard to imagine, as tough a plecos are. Poor guy. At least it looks like he's getting better.

I need to do some fern trimming now.

When we got hardwood floors put in, they refused to do anything with my fishtank in my room because they said that the banging and noise would kill my fish and that's just shocking ...poor pleco T_T hope he gets better
