Truley freshwater flounder

So I just got back from LFS with my girlfriend and she's a bit upset. She had her heart set on the "freshwater founder" they had there. I figured that most likely they were actually a brackish fish. The guy at the LFS confirmed it. So now I need to find a truly freshwater flounder. What's the scientific name for these guys? And where I can pick one up? Any help appreciated!

There is a Loach called Hillstream Loach which looks similar to a Flounder. Freshwater. Really beautiful.
