Tube worms

I have an explosion of tube worms in my tank. They are appearing everywhere, on the LR, glass, PH ....

Should I be worried? What are tube worms good for?

If nothing else, they're a sign of a pretty healthy tank. Other than that, they're filter feeders and add a bit to the looks. Are you talking big tube worms (hawaiin style) long thin white ones, or the little curly cue guys?
