A)I have some dark red stuff growing off the pedestal that my star polyps came on. Not too unattractive so I'm not worried about removing it, but is it macroalgae? Another coral?

B) white spiral growths on my tank glass and protein skimmer since I started dosing calcium. Thought they were snails, but they never move. They have thin, white, tank-facing projections that was hard to capture with my phone

Any helps would be great

Yes it is a macro algae and the second are spirobid worms.

All that hair algae needs to be taken out by hand or siphoned out. When you do your next PWC just siphon it out with the water you are exchanging.
