i upgraded from a penguin mini bio wheel to a penguin 125 bio wheel seems to be great im just waiting for the new bigger bio wheel to get all the bacteria built up !

Are you floating the old wheel in the tank? This will help speed things up.

no...i gave my old mini to my friend that has a 10 gallon that i just got him into fish and all he had was a regular mini without a bio wheel so i gave him my mini and now he runs both of them in his tank...i like how the wheel is bigger on the 125 though...
