How in the world do you get the url to show up as a word like 'here' and show up as an off color or highlighted

Thank you all for the help, I feel so stupid but computer language has never been my thing. Too much technical and not enough hands on. I think I have got it now, and i have learned that if I am going to use it, the preview screen is a lot of help.

bbcode is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. All you have to do is remember to bracket the code prior to the text and close the brackets with / preceding the closing argument and close them in reverse order they were created ie:

[size=18][color=red][b][u][url=http://www.aquariumadvice.com/faq.php?mode=bbcode]LOOK AT ME![/url][/u][/b][/color][/size]

Gives you LOOK AT ME!

As long as you do not have any spaces the code will work and as you said using the preview is key to checking to see if you did the code correctly
