What age will they start to brighten up and if its a male show their blue face? I have one thats probably half an inch and isnt showing any blue.

I think around 4" if i remember right. I bought one a while back when i was going to do Africans but then i researched after buying and found out they reach 10" and were aggressive so i returned it.

Are you able to post a photo of this little one? It would be interesting to see a venustus sporting dimorphism at that small size.
