vermetid snail?

does anyone have experience with vermetid snails, i have some tubes popping up and some mucous like strings and webs coming out of them. good or bad?

Sounds like them. My opinion is that they're good. I've heard others that curse them. I only curse mine when I slice my finger open on one. When that happens, that particular one usually "disappears".
