I now have five baby mollies in my tank and they're all big enough to avoid being eaten. They're really awesome looking. The dad is a bright orange sailfin and the mom is a very pretty sphenops molly (black, white and silver speckles). The babies all appear to be female and instead of being speckled like their mom, they have their back half black and their front half either orange or white. I'll post some pictures once they're big enough to take clear pictures.
