Very small white creatures?!?

I am looking at my tank and on the front glass there are all these little white creatures on the glass. So of them I can see crawling around. What are these things? No I don't have a camera....and they are too small to say anything other than they are white...and small.

That sounds like beneficial "pods". If they are sticking to the glass, they could be very small feather dusters. Of course, without a pic, we can only give a general guess.
