i have a community tank and im getting this violet color stuff on my decorations.what ever it is its hard to get off.any one no what this is?

Lights?
Params?
Stock?
Tank size?
Filter?
Can we have photos?

Pretty hard to say without a pic, but if it's hard to get off it's probably coralline algae. If you want to remove it, soak the decorations in vinegar. It will dissolve the coralline.

ok ill try vineger.i have a regular floresent bulb emperor filter and i have a blenny ,two clowns and just bought a long nose hawkfish.i always have great parimeters my salinity is alittle low at o.22 but the company says to keep it between 0.20-0-23

Hard to say without a picture, however your description sounds like coraline. Coraline is considered desirable by most.

looks alright on live rock but not decorations
