Ive read that water movement is important in a c02 injected tank so im trying to figure out if I will need a power head running in my 55 gal , my filter is a emp 350 so the flow should be pretty good , also ive read conflicting things on aeration , some say you should run a air stone for effective gas off and some say it will negate you injecting co2

I have my diffuser as low as I could get it and underneath my spraybar, maybe you could find a similar placement with your emporer. I personally like to off gas at night, mainly for the fish. I know that plants produce oxygen but its just my preferance. If you off gas after the CO2 and lights are off your plants are not photosynthesizing, you will not negate your CO2. You have to watch the pH as the CO2 converts to carbonic acid.
