Hi, I have 3 guppies 1m,2f. I found one baby. Both females are very pregnant. So I put them in a small hang on back container with a mop. No babies were found in the container. so I want to put them back in the tank. I took a water temp and found it 11 degrees colder than tank water. I put the fish in a plastic bag and put it in the tank to have the water come up to temp. The fish are healthy but is the water temp 11degree difference going to be a problem?

I would say yes its a problem.

Temperature range for guppies is 74 to 86f. So if your temperature drop takes it a long way out of this range thats not great long term.

Guppies can survive at lower temperatures, but its survive rather than thrive.

Its especially important that you dont transfer fish between those temperatures as the sudden change could cause temperature shock which cause a quick death. Make sure temperature changes are gradual, which is why you float the fish bag to equalise the temperature before adding new fish to your tank.
