what are these little white dots?

Hi,

The piece of Mopani wood I have in my tank is covered with little white dots. It looks ugly and I wonder if it is some disease. They are flat and white. I crushed them and it feels like a thin eggshell. There is nothing under them. When I scratch them off the wood, it leaves a little dip.

I included a picture. Sorry, the quality is not great. On it you see the wood, the zebra snail and the dots.

Could it be the zebra making those?

Eggs from your nerite snail. It'll keep laying them, but don't worry, nothing will come of them. They are near impossible to breed.
