I'm trying to get myself to begin a daily water change schedule. 1 gallon out of each of my 3 ten gallons, .5 gallons out of my 5 gallon, 10 gallons out of the 40 gallon, and the 55 gallons each will have 10 gallons taken out. This will all be a daily thing with a 50% change on the weekends. I've fallen pretty far behind on tank cleaning because of school, so I'm hoping to make a schedule and stick to it. I would do more on some of the tanks but I really don't have time. Oh and I almost forgot, I will be doing a 75% water change monthly

Had to add a few rocks in the discus tank to hold down the driftwood since it still floats up a little. Add had to add one to hold down a star repens

Plumbed my ro unit so the waste goes to the sewer, don't think my neighbors liked me dumping water in the street in the middle of winter. Now i can run 365 with no issues

5g water change in the 29g three days early because my Trochus were looking odd again; took samples to work so I could get another post-spike analysis done yesterday afternoon. Chemistry mostly looking good in both tanks – pH low again:

29g
Mg 410
Ca 470
Alk 7.7
pH 7.8
Nitrate/Nitrite 0/0 (HUZZAH!!!)
Ammonia 0.25
Phosphate 0.25
Salinity 1.026

75g
Mg 1500
Ca 500
Alk 6.7
pH 7.4
Nitrate/Nitrite 0/0 (HUZZAH!!!)
Ammonia 0.25
Phosphate 0.25
Salinity 1.026

Dosed both tanks with Eight Four.

Bought a Sand Sifting Star & added him to the 75g. Watched him bury himself under the black sand – he's gonna look cool when he scoots around the surface.

No Blue Tuxedo Urchin yet; maybe in a week or two...

Finally got the 35G SW tank emptied and cleaned out. Finally. Have a big bag of LS- 22lbs, A big heavy LR 13 lbs, and a arm load of other things to take to the mini auction at the CAS mtg. I have the tank and stand to rehome as well.

So anyhoo I hope to get a few more things collected as well. I am interested in clearing out a bunch of stuff and rather not wait for the big auction, though will still be bringing extra stuff each mtg. Might just CL a bunch of stuff too. I need to refocus the collection of supplies, lol. Better to have stuff get used than waste in the closet.

Found some fry in the guppy tank for the first time! Not much cover so a lot get eaten, I'm gonna set up a 20 as a temporary grow out tank for them until I can get some bins/vats

Who are you waiting on?

I have a lot of money saved up but shipping is from Oregon to North Carolina and I'm ordering discus so I don't know if I'll have to remove some plants from the order

Lots of fry. The larger two in the brown bowl are 2 German Red fry courtesy of Poppa (he sent me 6 juvies for breeding) and in the egg tumbler there are about 15-20 dragon blood x jacobfribergi peacock hybrids

Wet Spot only responds to emails for online sales Monday thru Friday. I usually end up paying $30 to $40 for shipping from them, overnight to MD.

Okay, thanks. And I'm guessing it'll be more for me since I'm ordering 20 plants and 13 fish

Hoping for some time to clean out my 15 G Colin tank with the TT & BV shrimp and move them. I have a home for any or all of the BV if I want to change them. Still havent decided.

The auction was a buyers market -22# of L.A. went for $6 ...bag of live rubble rock about 6 lbs went for $3 and the 13# LR went for $3. I bought a bag or Riccia for $4 and got 2 back after the CAS fees.

My comfort is that someone is starting a new tank and it wont dry out in my storage and bacteria go to waste.

Did an early WC on the bowfront, put it on its own stand today, and installed a grow light on the 10 gallon. Now to enjoy the fish.
