Still learning the posting a pic in the thread thing, lol!
 
Tested parameters, water change, replaced poly floss, cleaned both HOB's, cleaned lenses on the light fixture, cleaned inside and outside of glass.

Grabbed beer, cracked it, sat down on couch and enjoyed it.
 
tested freshwater tank and new saltwater tank
fixing to do a 25% pwc on the freshwater tank :)

Ok changed my mind I'm in the middle of a 50% change on the freshwater. The first 5 gallons was pretty nasty :-( so I'm doing 10 gallons
Happy fishies
 
Did a PWC with my new aqua blue hydro max...what a difference! It sure beats lugging 5 gal buckets and the cleanup is easy! Not dreading water changes as much anymore :)
 
Aquatic Plants Growing Outside Tank

Hello Aa...

Have emersed plants in several tanks that just require room light for growth. It seems the aquatic Pennywort that's in the tank prefers the ambient light to the two T5 28 watt bulbs in the strip. The Pennywort is growing out of the water. (See attached pics).

Had a disaster with my elephant nose tank let's just say it leaked! Transferred everything over to my jewel 180litre glad i kept it! ! Looks like I, ll be looking for a bigger tank. Also 50% clean on my bettas tank.
 
Got my 180litre all sorted for him after my disaster lol think i need to change my set up my elephant nose is happy with it!

Been trying to figure out the best way to plumb my 2 sw tanks into 1 sump ,
spent half the morning measuring
I have plans to put the sump under my 40 breeder sooner or later :D

Been a while since I posted on this thread........

So far today, I have done a water change on the 10 gallon shrimp tank, and I have been wishing death upon the hair algae in my 29 gallon :lol: I will be doing a water change on the 29 gallon and the 5 gallon soon.
 
Finally found some replacement legs for my t5's. got them donated from another member of the local aquarium club. So of thing I did today was replace those.
 
Got our centerpiece fish today finally agreed on a sunset honey gourami we actually found a gourami that was small.. was glad bc the other were full sized n we wanted to watch it grow

Good choice! Honey gourami's are beautiful fish!

These guys are fun! Watch your filter intake though, both of mine got too close to the intake and died:(
 
Thanks guys ill watch it prolly gonna put something over it anyway considering gettin shrimp after i research it some n see if its possible with the gourami

I've kept gouramis very successfully with ghost shrimp.
