They are not picky. They love flake food, algae wafers, shrimp pellets and just about any veggie you want to offer(zucchini, cucumber, green beans, peas, squash, broccoli, carrots (like Jc mentioned), spinach, etc. They also like some fruits. Mine love honeydew and cantaloupe melon..
 
I'm considering a few snails so I was curious about how you fed them these foods; I can't imagine trying to feed a snail flake food; the danios in my tank never let anything hit the bottom! :p

Fruit and vegs,though, wouldn't be a problem, assuming they're clipped to the bottom or somesuch - my otos would have to share though. (Once I have some, that is. c'mon nitrite, drop already!)
 
I use a veggie clip. You could also tie the veggies to a rock or simular before putting it in your tank.
