What is growing on my driftwood?

I have boiled it twice but this stuff keeps coming back. Any advice? It's a 5 gallon nano planted tank.

All driftwood I have had has done that. It seems to be normal for new driftwood and eventually goes away on it's own (IME about a month). It's not harmful and fish and shrimp even enjoy eating it

I don't know what it is but I believe it is normal too and it will go away. All my driftwoods have had that on it too.
