What is it? Really!

Ok my low pH measures out at 7.6, but my high pH is 8.4 ( GH-6,KH-9 ). So what is the ACTUAL pH?

I would say it's 8.4 because the standard ph test kit tops out around 7.6. Although when I test with the API standard ph test I get a darker blue then the highest result on the page. Then, when I use the high ph test I'll get around 7.8 or so.
