Hi everyone
I have 20g fully cycled tank with two types of fish. I try to grow the right type of algea for my otos, but im having a hart time with it, but this white thing apeared on walls, plants and everywhere else. I clean it on the walls, but i keep on my plants in case if this is something they can eat. What is it?
I have no ammonia, ph level little bit high but its not too bad. No nitrates. Sometimes little bit nirites, but i do water changes , so i try to keep it to zero level.

And another thing...
so i thought this was green algea and it can be a good source of food for otos, so i got little bit of this green stuff from another tank, because i was desperate, my otos were hungry. But apparently this is cyanobacteria. Is it good for anything? Should i remove it?
